WHAT IS THE TYPICAL TIMEFRAME FOR CREATING A WEBSITE?

Every project is different but assuming that there are no delays from your side with material for amends/briefs, a typical website will take between 4-8 weeks for completion. Previously, we have been able to complete a website in less than 2 weeks, however we try our absolute best in getting the final product live in a timely manner.

HOW DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS WORK?

We will ask you to complete a short questionnaire/ consultation form and then we will organise a call to go through it all and underway we go. We will undertake research on your industry to be able to create a design concept. This is an image of the homepage and we will then ask for your feedback. We will keep working on this design until you are 100% happy and then once you have approved the draft version, the website will be built. As we offer an unlimited number of revisions, we can guarantee that you will be happy as we will keep working on it until you sign it off. However, once the website is signed off and we start building it any further design changes may be chargeable.

WHAT WEB PROVIDE/TOOL DO YOU USE?

We are specialised in using various web tools and platforms. For new website creation, we tend to use Wix the most followed by WordPress.

WILL YOU MAINTAIN MY SITE FOR ME?

Yes we can! We provide maintenance packages to cause less hassle and stress. There are various packages available. Give us a call or chat with us.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY PROJECT?

We will send you an invoice which you pay by bank transfer. If you agree to have a new website built from scratch, you will need to pay 50% upfront to secure your spot. The 50% balance is then due when your site goes live. If you would like small amendments to be made on an existing website you have, the cost will be based per hour depending on the website size. We also offer maintenance packages too if you need changes made etc, with additional costs. Keep in mind that you will need to pay for your website name/domain subscription but we are happy to help with the set up and payment in your quotation.

CAN I UPDATE MY WEBSITE ONCE IT IS LIVE?

Yes. Every website that we build is built using Wix or WordPress. When it goes live we will give you a training session so that you are comfortable with basic changes. Sometimes if the change is more involved or requires new design input you may want to ask us to do it for you and this would fall under our standard hourly charge. If having issues, We also offer maintenance packages too to cause less hassle and stress with additional costs.

ONCE THE SITE IS LIVE HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET THINGS CHANGED?

If you need something on your website that needs amending, then we will make any updates for a charge. We will agree every support task with you upfront, so that you understand exactly what is involved, and where possible suggest alternative solutions, which may be simpler and therefore more cost effective for you.

HOW MUCH DOES A NEW WEBSITE COST?

There isn't a single answer to this question. A website design is quoted based on the needs of each individual project. Every website is unique and requires different components; we design and develop custom websites specifically for your small business. We’ll ask a lot of questions, assess your needs, and give you a quote based on that assessment. Most of our new website builds are in the £400 range, but can be more/less depending on the scale.

DO YOU PROVIDE WEBSITE AND EMAIL HOSTING?

Yes all of our websites have website and email hosting which is fully managed by ourselves.

IF I DON'T HAVE A WEBSITE DO I REALLY NEED ONE?

Nowadays, most businesses and customers are searching for their services and products via the internet. Therefore, if you do not have a website, you are limiting your online presence. Without a website, you are missing out on thousands of customers, whilst your competitors are being found by potential customers.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO CREATE A NEW WEBSITE?

Talk to our friendly team and we will ascertain the level of web design required. We will then offer a full web design service, involving purchasing the domain name, hosting the website, producing copy, acquiring images and building the website. Alternatively Immersive Media is happy fitting in with your requirements, whatever you require - just web hosting space, domain name registration, website design or web maintenance contracts.

WHO WRITES THE CONTENT FOR THE SITE?

Typically, you are the content owner. You are the expert on your business, so it’s best if it comes from you. If you require help, we can give you ideas and suggestions to give you a better idea of what readers or visitors would like to read and see.
